T-Ball is for 4–6 year olds who have never played T-Ball. Players are taught the basics of T-Ball: Hitting off the tee, throwing, fielding, running the bases, proper bat holding technique, determining which hand to use, socialization with kids their age, and listening to their coaches via fun games. There are no formal games against other teams in T-Ball.
Commitment: Saturday mornings for approximately one hour.
Location: Knights of Columbus and Lonsdale Elementary School
We NEED parents to coach T-Ball!
Coaching is extremely rewarding. Watching a little person catch a ball for the very first time is AMAZING!!! Watching them run the wrong way & redirecting ....FUN!
Volunteer to coach during the signup process. Background checks are required and are completed through this website during the volunteer signup process.
- One day per week, approximately 1 hour sessions.
- Lincoln Little League provides hats and shirts.
- Players should wear comfortable sneakers.
- Lincoln Little League provides tee, bats, helmets, and balls.
- Kids will need their own glove.
- Practice is done in functional learning sessions. Children learn to run the bases, throw and catch the ball, hit off a tee, learn to field, and learn how to be a team player.
- Games are limited in the T-Ball setting as it is hard to hold little people’s attention for very long.
